is guns, more guns.
The Supreme Court has done it again. Peace in our time!
Hopefully this ruling will give a boost to the concerned citizens of South Carolina who want to allow students of all ages to carry handguns to schools: http://news.ccpblogs.com/2008/06/02/bring-your-gun-to-school-day-redux/.
Ah, America. Land of the free, home of the headshot.
I'm all for individual ownership of guns, as long as we stick to Jefferson's adage that periodic revolution, "at least once every 20 years, ... [is] a medicine necessary for the sound health of government." How does Scalia use originalism to interpret that? Does he think he and his comfortably wide backside would retain power in such a scenario?
